Historique

1987 Foundation of the company SMCF (Société de Moule Caoutchouc Fertois) in La Ferté Bernard. Originally, SMCF specialised in manufacturing enclosed cast forms for the rubber industry and the motor industry.

1990 During this time the CEO Michel Camaret implements an extensive investment policy and expands the fleet of machinery by procuring 5-axis processing centres.

SMCF introduces a stringent quality system as well as ambitious process and traceability inspections and is thus capable of offering technically sophisticated injection moulds.

1992 Following the business expansion, SMCF moves into new premises in La Ferté Bernard.

1998 Michel Camaret expands his expertise in the planning and manufacture of injection moulds for flexible thermoplastics (rubber) and for seal applications (windows, door frames, convertible roof covers) for vehicles, cars, HGVs and special machines.

2007 During this time, a great deal was invested in personnel and technology, such as the purchase of a 5-axis simultaneous processing centre.

Today SMCF INDUSTRIELLE is ideally suited to offer a complete solution for the planning and manufacture of injection moulds for sealing parts.
